This smoothie is rich in peanut butter and currant jelly – it is so reminiscent of a wonderful PBJ peanut butter jelly sandwich. The Peanut Butter Jelly sandwich brings back wonderful childhood memories. And many people believe it is not healthy, which is not true it all depends on your ingredients!
Creamy and Filling
A peanut butter smoothie is wonderfully creamy filling and leaves you satisfied – and it’s not too sweet at all, add a little trace of salt to make the flavours come out.
Ingredients for 3 to 4 smoothies
- 2 bananas
- 2 cups of yogurt or skyr
- 2 cups of oat drink or your desired milk option
- 2-3 tablespoons of peanut butter (made from 100% peanuts)
- 1 – 2 tbsp honey
- possibly a pinch of salt (try it first)
