The fact that walnuts are considered brainfood made them an obvious choice for a müsli. As all HIVE The Good Life granolas it is free from refined sugar.
In Germany müsli is synonymous with breakfast. But have you checked the label of your müsli lately? Most müslis contain loads of refined sugar and salt. With HIVE you get great quality oats and nuts and that is it. How much sugar you add is up to you.
Müsli has a high fiber and protein content which allows your body to feel full and have less cravings. With the added walnuts you get the antioxidants and lower blood pressure.
Combine your HIVE walnut with milk or milk substitutes such as oat, cashew, hazelnut, rice or soy milk, eat immediately or allow to sit overnight.
Mix the müsli with fresh seasonal fruits for an extra dose of vitamins and if you want an added crunch to your müsli, add a spoonful of HIVE granola. Alternatively soak overnight and have it ready to go or to eat for the next day. Try warming it after its been soaked overnight – its the lazy way to make a quick porridge.
